Fiume (born: February 21, 1979) played at Syracuse, where she was the team captain and MVP her junior and senior seasons. She was named to the All-Big East Rookie Team in 1997, was second team all-conference in 1999 and first-team in 2000. During her senior year she set nine school records, including all-time kills, attacks and blocks.
